Our Story

My name is Sarah Morris, and before I ever dreamed of opening a school, I was simply a parent trying to help my child make it through each day. She is bright. She is capable. She is creative. And yet, in a traditional school setting, she struggled every single day.

All through elementary school, she worked twice as hard just to keep up—managing the schedule, finishing assignments, remembering due dates, navigating friendships. Even with added supports in place, our evenings were filled with tears, frustration, and the heartbreaking feeling that she was falling further behind no matter how hard she tried.

Then came middle school, and everything intensified. Seven classes. Seven teachers. Multiple platforms for assignments. Faster pacing. More complex content. Even with preparation, the transition was overwhelming. She spent three to four hours every night trying to complete work she couldn’t finish in class. The academics moved faster than her brain could process, yet she was still expected to keep up.

We added more supports. We advocated. We adjusted.
But the truth became painfully clear:  “She is not unable to learn—she is unable to learn in this environment.”

She needed more time. More repetition. More understanding. She needed a place where her nervous system could breathe, where her strengths could shine, and where her challenges weren’t treated as failures.

And she is not alone. Across our country, the number of children with learning differences, attention challenges, sensory needs, and neurodevelopmental diagnoses continues to grow. More families are finding that traditional classrooms—despite the best intentions—simply aren’t designed for the way their children learn. These students are capable, intelligent, and full of potential, yet they are often left feeling overwhelmed, misunderstood, or defeated.

As an Occupational Therapy Assistant, and as a mom, I knew something had to change. Not just for my child—but for the countless children like her.

So I set out to create a school where students don’t have to fit into a system… because the system is built to fit them. A school where learning is paced with intention. Where executive functioning, emotional regulation, social skills, and functional academics are taught with the same importance as reading and math. Where students are supported in the ways their brains and bodies need—so they can finally thrive, not just survive.

We are building a place where children can rediscover confidence, joy, and the belief that they are capable of extraordinary things.

Because every child deserves an environment that sees them, understands them, and gives them the space to reach their full potential.

And for families who have felt unheard or alone on this journey — you are not alone anymore.

This school was created for your child, too.

Mission

Our Mission is to create a calm and loving environment for our students to grow and gain knowledge, as well as transparency and support for their families. Our students will be taught academics, functional daily living skills, vocational skills as well as the love that Christ has for them. We believe that this will lay a solid foundation to give them confidence in their hearts and minds for a successful future.  We will strive to meet our students at their academic level and challenge them to be more than conquerors' through Christ who loves them.

“In ALL things, we can be MORE than conquerors through Him, who loved us,”

Romans 8:37

Educational Model

We believe that the foundation of knowledge begins with the fear of the Lord. We want our students to understand that morals and values come from the wisdom of God. It is He, who guides and shapes each student, as to how their knowledge is processed and applied. We will strive to help our students acknowledge, on their varied levels of learning, that their hard work is vital for success in all things. Our students will learn functional and academic skills through a multisensory approach. This type of teaching model is outside of the traditional educational model, due to our students each having their own individual learning styles, paces, and needs. Our students' days will be filled with functional academics at a pace that will ensure mastery for each of them. This will also be accomplished with everyday living tasks that work towards your student becoming a productive member of society. We believe in teaching our students that this begins with being a productive member of their home. Our students will be valued, validated, and loved well under each of our educators' care and teaching.

“The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge-” Proverbs 1:7
